Golden Spike re-enactment at Promontory Summit, UT

Corky Lee atop a 12 foot ladder re-enacts the Golden Spike ceremony with Asian Americans and descendants of Chinese railroad laborers at 145th Anniversary of the completion of the First Transcontinental Railroad at Promontory Summit, Utah - May 10, 2014.

Corky undertook what he called an "act of photographic justice" to re-enact a famous photograph at this site to both commemorate Chinese American's contribution to this historic moment in US history as well as to question why Chinese railroad workers had been excluded in the historic Golden Spike ceremony 145 years ago.
