2016 September 11th Remembrance Services are held by the American Legion Kimlau Post at the Kimlau Square Memorial Park in Chinatown, New York City.  Inscribed on the memorial arch is a dedication in both English and Chinese: “In Memory of the Americans of Chinese Ancestry who lost their Lives in Defense of Freedom and Democracy.” Kimlau Square is at the center of Chatham Square which is at the confluence of eight streets: the Bowery, Doyers Street, East Broadway, St. James Place, Mott Street, Oliver Street, Worth Street and Park Row.
